After teaching 7th grade literature for one year, I realized that my passion lay in higher education and theology. I attended Denver Seminary, pursuing the academic degree in theology. As I studied there, I was also able to find teaching opportunities in many areas of my life. Through guest lecturing, teaching small classes and Bible studies, and continuing my education in the art of teaching, I was able to grow as a teacher.

After beginning to work in the CCU School of Theology as the administrative assistant, I was able to pick up a few classes as an adjunct professor. These courses, especially the Women in Ministry elective, affirmed my desire to work with college students in their faith and studies. I am excited to continue working with the students in a full-time capacity, and I look forward to growing with them even more.
