Biography and Professional Achievements

Sarah Kizzee earned her B.A. in Psychology from Salem College. She then graduated from the Master of Arts in Counseling program in 2015 at which time she accepted a position with the Denver Street School in Marketing and Development. Having a passion for higher education and the clinical counseling field, she re-joined the CCU family in 2017 when she became program coordinator for the MAC department.

Sarah loves helping foster the development of future clinical counselors who will be on the front lines. She firmly believes healing takes place through the context of healthy relationships. She loves working behind the scenes helping everything move smoothly. Sarah also loves providing students with the best help possible while they try to navigate being an adult learner.

Faith and Learning

CCU is unique in its integration of faith and learning. Students don't have to choose between their moral and religious beliefs when it comes to an education. They are in a room with like-minded individuals who foster a safe environment to explore thoughts and ideas.
