I chose CCU because it has a stellar History program. It also offered small, intimate classes where I could interact with both peers and professors which is how I learn best. The fact that CCU intertwined Christianity with its excellent academics was the bonus for me!
Proverbs 27:17 states: “As iron sharpens iron, so must one man sharpen another.” There are so many different people on so many different paths of life, but we’re all connected by the same thing – the Gospel. That’s what allows everyone, no matter where they are at, to relate and help each other press on in our faith. We share, we challenge, and we grow together. I don’t think my faith could be this strong without the support I’ve received at CCU.
Whether it’s a roommate, peer, or even a staff member, everyone has a genuine heart for community and for the Lord. Plus, the CCU population is a breed all its own which leads to there never being a dull moment.
