The Thrill of Competition

Not everyone has to be a top-notch athlete to enjoy the thrill of competition at CCU. The intramural program has something for everyone. From sand volleyball to the more academic-oriented activities like quiz bowl or basic sports like wiffleball, intramural activities are thriving on campus. Intramurals are organized by stairwells, and teams compete to accumulate points throughout the year. The team with the most points at the end of the year gets a stairwell party paid for by intramurals programs. So get out your ping pong paddle and start practicing … or dust off your Frisbee in the garage so you can join an ultimate Frisbee team. And even if you wouldn’t call yourself athletic, be sure to take part in the school wide game of GOTCHA where students are given squirt guns and a week to attempt to squirt their opponents without being hit first. Whatever the time of year, take a break from studies, get some exercise, and be a part of CCU’s intramurals.
