Security staff members are available on campus twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to serve and protect members of the CCU community. The Department of Campus Safety and Security at CCU consists of five full-time security guards who patrol the campus, man a call center, and respond to students in need of assistance. The director was a police officer for more than 25 years specializing in all areas of police work including patrol, crime analysis, records, and communications. CCU is also located just a couple blocks from the Lakewood Police Department and West Metro Fire and Rescue.  Needless to say, the CCU community enjoys a very low crime rate. And we are committed to keeping it that way.

We believe that all members of the CCU community can contribute to creating a safe and productive environment. That’s why CCU expects students to live up to a high standard of behavior and personal values. All CCU students sign a standard of conduct statement holding them accountable to living out their Christian faith. The purpose of the statement is to clarify the standards of behavior essential to the University’s educational mission and community life. Check out a complete listing of student conduct expectations.
