The VALS Purpose

“To Change the Paradigm for the Next Generation of Leaders”

Somehow business leadership has lost its way. In navigating the digital-paced business environment, the directions to values-based decisions were misplaced. There is no greater time than now to reclaim the values that leaders throughout the ages have possessed with regard to stewardship, ethics, and values-aligned decision making. It is time to elevate and demand leadership accountability. It is time for new role models to emerge. VALS exists to help define that pathway.

VALS helps us transition to a concrete model for values-aligned leadership. By engaging executives, students, and educators in dialogue around the values-aligned leadership model and how to practically approach ethical decision-making, VALS helps us transition to a viable model for values-aligned leadership by working with leaders from various fields and backgrounds.

VALS Goals

  1. Provide an opportunity for business executives and students to network and discuss the theme of values-based leadership.
  2. Engage in powerful and vital discussions that will promote a values-based business culture.
  3. Expose Colorado Christian University’s School of Business as a quality values-based business program to business executives around the country.
  4. Highlight the teaching of values-based leadership at Colorado Christian University.
