Note: All new students for fall 2008 must register online for Weekend of Welcome. If you plan to attend the WOW Opening Banquet or Whitewater Rafting trip, you must also purchase tickets online for those events. You will be prompted to pay online after you complete the basic registration form for WOW.
Below are some of the exciting things in store for you during WOW 2008! You will receive a revised and complete schedule when you check in on Thursday, August 21.

Denver International Airport (DIA) Runs
Need a ride from the airport? CCU will pick you up if your flight arrives at DIA on Thursday morning, August 23, by 10:00 a.m. Just fill in your flight info on your registration form and we will contact you with more details.
8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Check in and Move in (F/T/P)
Students living in campus housing will check in at their assigned hall. Students not living in University housing will check in at the Information Tent. Students may not move in before 8:00 a.m.
Note: Residence Hall check in does not begin until 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21. Should you have extenuating circumstances and need to discuss an earlier move in date, please contact ccreslife@ccu.edu or call 303-963-3460 to discuss your situation.

One Stop Shop (F/T/P)
Get your student ID and parking permit, open a bank account, sign up for music auditions, and check out area vendors. One Stop Shop is also open on Friday from 1:00-2:30 p.m.

Wellness Services Tent (F/T/P)
Stop by for some healthy refreshments and learn about the services provided by CCU’s Health Services and Counseling Services departments. The Wellness Services Tent is also open on Friday from 1:30-3:00 p.m.

Meet your Resident Assistant (F/T)
Students living in University housing are required to participate in stairwell meetings. Your Resident Assistant (RA) will give you some helpful information for your first night at CCU.

Music Theory Testing (Music Students)
All music majors/minors and anyone interested in music courses must take this test.

English Honors Composition Placement Exam
If you did not get admitted to Honors English earlier in the summer, you may take an exam at this time to be considered for the class. The advantage of taking Honors English is a 2-for-1 in the General Education requirements. Students who pass Honors English successfully do not need to take ENG 102 Composition and ENG 104 Research Writing. If you have any questions regarding the English Honors Composition Placement Exam please email wpetrie@ccu.edu.
