Professional Accomplishments:

Barbara has been a professional musician and educator since 1978. Her experience as a musician has been wide and varied, performing as a soloist and playing for various orchestras and chamber ensembles. She has played for many local and international dignitaries including the Presidents of the United States: Ford, Clinton, George H. Bush, and George W. Bush. Barbara has also been trained as a therapeutic musician (CMP, Certified Music Practitioner), playing by the bedside of patients in order to create a calm healing environment. As an educator she has taught at both the elementary, secondary and university level, including 20 years in Jefferson County Schools. She has also taught at Colorado Academy, CSU, and Regis University.
