Professional Accomplishments:


PoetrySanctuary (Finishing Line Press, 2008) and poetry collections published by Lulu Press (2009-2012), including Made in the Image, Tidepools, Love-Song, Butterflies, Epiphany: Birth Poems, A Pure Heart, Sunflower Songs, and The Roots of Apples as well as the BIRDWATCHER TRILOGY, Bird-Watcher's Diary Entries, Wild Birdsong, Jazz Birding. Poetry CD: Songs from the Secret Life (Shiloh Studio of Sound, 2009). Fantasy:Magical Poems for Girls, Magical Poems Illustrated, and Eight Stories from Undiscovered Countries. Literary Criticism: an academic monograph, John Trevisa and the English Polychronicon (ACMRS, 2012), a edited collection of academic essays, Illuminating Moses: A History of Reception from Exodus to the Renaissance (Brill, 2013), and co-edited with Mark Bradshaw Busbee, Translating the Past: Essays on Medieval Literature in Honor of Marijane Osborn (ACMRS, 2012) and Approaches to Teaching the Middle English Pearl (in progress for MLA).

*Award: In 2013, Dr. Beal received the Colorado Christian University Faculty Scholarship Award for demonstrating evidence of high academic contributions to her field through research and publication.
