C.W. "Chick" Lee

C.W. "Chick" Lee has owned and operated his own architectural and interior design firm for more than 40 years. He recently transitioned to assisting his son, Johnny, who now serves as president. Lee Architects/Interior Designers has served a wide variety of clients including churches, banks, credit unions, schools, elderly housing, and recreational facilities.

Lee’s firm completed more church architectural projects in the last 25 years than any other architectural firm in the region. Currently it is involved in 22 church projects, including Flatirons Church, Mission Hills Church, Timberline Church, and Resurrection Fellowship.

Lee earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. He previously served on the boards of the American Institute of Architects and the Inner City Health Center, and the board of the State Capitol Advisory Committee for the State of Colorado. He also was on advisory boards for schools of architecture at Texas Tech University and University of Colorado.

Lee's professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects and the Colorado Society of Architects. He holds a professional license in many states and the National Certificate of Architectural Registration.

Lee has been married to his wife, LaNelle, for 55 years. They have two grown children and seven grandchildren. The Lees have attended Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church for 17 years where he has served on the property and finance committee. Previously they attended Riverside Baptist Church for seven years, and attended Bear Valley Baptist Church for 17 years.
