Student Organizations

1776 Scholars: The 1776 Scholars work to impact American politics for the glory of God and in the spirit of 1776. They seek to gain wisdom from political experts, as well as engage in opportunities to transform government and culture.

All Things Ministry: All Things ministers to and encourages patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Through crafts, activities, parties, and gift bags, we shine Jesus through our actions and give them a positive outlook on life.

Art Club: Foster a sense of community by encouraging students to glorify God through their creativity.

Archery Club: Learn several components of archery such as shooting techniques, safety procedures, and equipment management while building community.

CCU Accounting Society: The CCU Accounting Society informs students about the accounting profession and the opportunities within through coordinating events with professionals in the field to guide students in their career path.

CCU Cheerleading: CCU Cheer is an athletic club focused on supporting the school's sport's teams. The cheer team performs at all home men's and women's basketball games. The focus is to excel in stunts, cheers, and dances while growing the team community and encouraging school spirit!

CCU Climbing Team: The Climbing Club exists to show the love of Christ to the rock climbing community, improve their climbing skills, and promote climbing as a safe, active, and fun sport.

CCU for Life: CCU for Life exists to educate the student body on the issues surrounding abortion and equip them to take action within their community. We desire to enable students to intelligently articulate their views and share them with others in a constructive manner. Additionally, we want to foster a school culture that will share the love of Christ to women whether they are pregnant and considering abortion, adoption, or parenting as well as women who are post-abortive by promoting and volunteering at local pregnancy centers.

CCU Missions: CCU Missions is a group of students that seek to glorify Jesus Christ by taking the spread of the gospels among the nations seriously by being involved in the global mission of God. CCU Missions honors Christ by meeting together to talk about missions, hearing from speakers, praying for missionaries and causes, and fellowshipping together through a meal.

CCU Psy Club: The Psy Club's main purpose is to expand the knowledge of the vast disciplines of psychology for psychology major students and students who are simply interested in psychology.

CCU Spikeball Club: Roundnet is a CCU Spikeball Club that provides an opportunity for students who are interested in the sport to participate competitively and minister to players on other teams.

Cougars Swim Club: The Cougars Swim Team seeks to utilize talent to glorify God in the pool through competition and improving their skills.

CougMedia: CougMedia exists to inform the CCU community through stories that inspire creativity, excite learning, and unite students in fellowship through different forms of media.

Cultural Connections: The purpose of Cultural Connections is to foster a relationship-driven community for multicultural individuals to thrive by facilitating meaningful connections, facilitating meaningful connections, assisting students in cultural assimilation, and promoting multicultural awareness in the broader CCU community.

Cycling Team: The CCU Cycling Club's mission is to provide students with the opportunity to not only increase their physical health, but to also learn or improve in the amazing sport of mountain biking.

Dance Team: Our mission as the CCU Dance Team/Club is to continue and grow our passion for dance while glorying the Lord through this gift that He's given us.

Don’t Be Trashy/Conservation Club: We seek to better cherish the gift of creation by stewarding God's gifts of provision by initiating environmentally conscientious practices through the promotion of student involvement and awareness.

Fortified Fitness Club: As the Fortified Fitness club, our mission is to educate, motivate and foster community through physical fitness that will promote a well-balanced mind, body, and soul for students on campus.

Ultimate Frisbee: Our mission is to build and foster a community of people who enjoy ultimate frisbee and would like to enjoy it on both a casual and competitive level.

Futsal Club: The Mission of the CCU Futsal Club is to create a community that can enjoy the game of futsal together and that through the sport there would be joy, laughter, encouragement, and stress relief.

Gamer’s Club: To have fellowship with fellow gamers and friends.

History Club: Our mission is to help our peers engage in history in a fun and meaningful way. We want to further our knowledge and share experiences with those who share our passion for history.

Hockey Club: The Hockey club seeks to personify Christian values and honor the Lord as they represent CCU in a recreational hockey league.

Men’s Volleyball Club: The Men's Volleyball Club plays in the Rocky Mountain West League.

Music Educators: Music Education Club seeks to develop students interested in music education through regular meetings and traveling to the annual Colorado Music Educators Association Conference. They also participate in music ministry at local schools.

Nurses Christian Fellowship: Nurses Christian Fellowship seeks to build a close community of students seeking to understand how the Word intersects with future nursing careers, to equip students with a holistic view on patient care, to offer meaningful and impactful volunteering opportunities where students can practice missional living, and to connect students with other peers and Christian mentors who encourage missional living in each other’s careers.

Orthodox Christian Fellowship: To provide those who attend this club with the opportunity to have a more well-rounded faith and to understand Eastern Christian spirituality and practice.

Omicron Delta Kappa: Omicron Delta Kappa is an invitational national leadership honor society that recognizes superior scholarship, leadership, and character.

Paragon: Paragon is CCU's literary magazine that provides students with an outlet for creativity and expression. Under the direction of appointed student editors, this annual publication is comprised of contributions by students or original poetry, short stories, photography, and artwork.

Philosophy Club: The Philosophy Club works to inform and educate CCU students of philosophical works and schools while providing an opportunity for free thought and discussion.

Pre-Health Club: Through guest speakers, panels, study groups, and service activities, the Pre-Health Club serves as a source of education and support for science majors.

Research Club: Research Club is a scholarly, Christ-focused club founded in order to teach, challenge, and prepare students for both graduate school and prospective careers in their respective fields.

ROTC: To guide, enable, and prepare future officer’s to develop as leaders and succeed personally,
professionally, and spiritually, balancing faith and professionalism as future military leaders.

Student Athlete Advisory Council: SAAC provides an excellent vehicle for communication between the administration of CCU Athletics and student-athletes. The SAAC provides students with an opportunity to offer input on programs designed to serve their needs as student-athletes.

Swing for the King: Swing for the King creates a social atmosphere for students and faculty to get exercise, socialize, and have fun while swing dancing.

Strategoi: Strategoi provides an opportunity for students to bond and create new relationships over friendly board game competition.

Trash Club: Trash Club meets weekly to pick up trash from residence halls and fellowship with one another through prayer.

Women’s Volleyball Club: The Women’s Volleyball Club promotes fellowship and athleticism through the sport of volleyball.
