To accommodate all online Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling students, CCU provides a curated curriculum that consists of 60 credit hours, of which the majority can be taken online — wherever you have Internet access. As an online student, you will be required to attend an intensive residential training at CCU's main campus in Lakewood, Colorado. CACREP accreditation

CCU’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Programs accredited by CACREP are reviewed against professionally approved standards, resulting in a streamlined licensure application process.

    • Online classes are typically completed in 7-week or 14-week blocks. Online students are required to attend three separate 5-day residential trainings at CCU's Lakewood Campus. These residencies occur at various points throughout a student's program progression.

    • Graduates are academically prepared to take the National Counselor Exam
