CCU Travel Policy in Response to Coronavirus Pandemic

Updated: March 26, 2020

    • All University-sponsored faculty, staff, and student international travel is suspended through August 2020. All pending trips have been cancelled.
    • All faculty, staff, and student university-sponsored, business/academic, non-essential, out-of-state travel within the U.S. is suspended, pending further notice. Travel sponsors may petition to their divisional vice president for exceptions to this restriction. The vice president will present the petition to the Coronavirus Response Team and the committee will make a final decision.
    • Travel within Colorado is currently not restricted.
    • University administration is aware that many of you are currently planning travel (both domestic and abroad) over Spring Break to visit loved ones, friends, or special destinations. We urge you to follow all travel alerts closely and we strongly discourage you from traveling to countries with high-level travel alerts (CDC Level 2 or 3). See the CDC Travel Information web page for the latest information.
    • The University is requiring ALL students and employees to register ALL personal domestic and international travel plans on the form below. If the University notifies you, you may be required to self-isolate or be quarantined off campus for 14 days after your arrival in Lakewood before returning to class or any University facility, including residence halls.
    Mandatory Travel Reporting Form

If you are planning any personal international travel or any domestic travel to any state other than Colorado, you are required to complete the Travel Reporting Form.
