Employment Management Services

What is Employment Management Services?

Employment Management Services is a unique, robust job placement program that pairs Colorado Christian University students and alumni with local, national, and international employers in need of high quality job candidates. Now offering 100% virtual assistance to students and employers!

Connecting Students/Alumni with Employers

  • Students/Alumni

Employment Management Services works to model 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV) which says, “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” This means that our students believe in approaching all work as a form of worship. Our students don’t settle for “good enough,” they seek to offer only the best in their places of employment.

  • Employers

We work to develop solid relationships within our employer partnerships. While we are working to ensure that our students are prepared for success after graduation, we also emphasize finding candidates who are a good fit for the jobs offered by our partnering employers. For us, the matching process needs to fit on all sides to be successful.

“EMS was a huge support throughout my time at CCU, all the way up until graduation. I told EMS about my dream of working in healthcare administration and data manipulation, fully realizing this was a unique and rare aspiration. They surprised me when they sent me a healthcare consultant opportunity at BKD CPA's and Advisors. The EMS staff met with me for weeks just because they cared about what God had in store for my life. Now, I work with hospitals and nursing facilities, advising them how best to manage their finances. I get to analyze data and serve our healthcare clients.”

“EMS first helped me get an internship with a public accounting firm in Denver during the summer after my junior year at CCU. When I completed the internship and informed EMS I was interested in a change of direction for careers, EMS supported me every step of the way. As I started my senior year, EMS was responsible for connecting me with the Christian, non-profit organization Samaritan’s Purse. After practicing mock interviews with EMS staff, I felt prepared and confident to sit down with Samaritan’s Purse recruiters for a series of interviews. The resume review and professional guidance proved invaluable to me as I eventually accepted an internship and later a full-time position with the organization. I’ve since had opportunities with Samaritan’s Purse to visit project sites in Bolivia and work at a COVID-19 field hospital in Italy. I’d recommend to any CCU student that they partner with EMS as they seek jobs during college and beyond. EMS will get you a seat at the table, which is sometimes all you need!”
