EARLY LEARNING PROGRAM MANAGER: Pay; $38-40K/year; Hours: Full-Time; REF: #1380

Looking for a job that will keep you active and working with kids? The Early Learning Program Manager (ELPM) is the perfect position for you! The ELPM is responsible for the Early Learning Program (ELP) and the children of the teen mothers served by this company. The ELPM is responsible for managing teachers, volunteers, child development data and oversight of the Early Learning budget. These responsibilities can range anywhere from: Developing and maintaining policed and processes related to the Early Learning Program, participating in annual budget planning and monthly forecast meetings, to collaborating with teachers to develop positive learning activities that promote child development. Contact EMS with the reference number through the Student Contact Form to learn more information and get started with the application process!


  • Experience Needed: Bachelor’s Degree and Director qualified for Large/Small Child Care Center.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience working with children of at-risk populations is preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaboration and teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Physical requirements; ability to conduct activities involving kneeling, bending, crouching and so forth, lifting various weights of 40-50 pounds, and responding to unanticipated activities with children.
  • Must pass a background/criminal check and drug test before employment is granted.
  • Availability to work every Tuesday evening and other evenings/weekends on occasion.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
  • Must meet insurance requirements for an acceptable MVR which reflects no more than 2 violations and/or accidents; no more than 3 vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements within the past 3 years; no DUI, reckless or felony driving convictions within 5 years.

Pay: $38-40K/year

Hours: Full Time
