CIVIL RIGHTS SPECIALIST: Hours: Full-time; REF #3262090
- Provide front-end helpdesk support and user-training on Civil Rights software systems (B2GNow) for construction contractors.
- Use knowledge of related laws, regulations, and processes to recommend effective ways to apply the software systems in an efficient manner to support contractor compliance.
- Develop and implement methods to track data related to customer and system issues that can be used to generate reports for further analysis.
- Provide customer interface/support for software systems via email and phone.
- Conduct analysis on the common issues being faced by users and develop recommendations to streamline processes within the systems.
- Escalate complex issues to the Construction Compliance Supervisor and provide input on the most effective ways to address gaps through existing training sessions and resources.
- Develop, implement and monitor subcontractor civil rights compliance processes and programs on construction projects, including sublet approval and Commercially Useful Function (CUF) processes.
- Learn to conduct audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations by developing audit plans, compiling findings, identifying trends and generating reports.
- Assist in developing and delivering training related to software systems and regulations to internal and external stakeholders to ensure statewide consistency.
- Learn to evaluate system reports to recommend process changes for increased effectiveness and stream-lined, consistent processes.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm work hours, Monday-Friday
- Travel required during work day to attend meetings and visit project sites
- Must occasionally attend meetings and events after hours including evenings and weekends
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Science, or a closely related field (A copy of your transcript must be submitted to verify this requirement.)
- AND at least one year of full-time professional work experience with a primary focus on integrating business needs and processes with software functionality including troubleshooting end user computer issues and/or construction contract compliance.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB FUNCTION:
Provide application and data support for our Campus Management Student Information System (SIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) customers while also promoting and advocating efficient use of the system. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills and be self motivated and willing to learn new technical skills. Will employ analysis skills to gather customer requirements and work until completion for best customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Liaison to SIS and CRM customers.
- Provide SIS and CRM application support – combination of technical and functional.
- Schedule and facilitate the Campus Management User’s Group meetings.
- Schedule and monitor SIS and CRM upgrades, patch installs, and database refreshes.
- Help test product upgrades and patches.
- Have a good understanding of customer’s business processes so improvements, configurations, and general changes can be viewed and directed as a whole.
- Coordinate the resolution of assigned incidents with Campus Management Support.
- Gather customer requirements in the areas of reporting, SQL queries, and functional configuration changes and determine the best approach for resolution – internal and/or vendor completion.
- Create/Modify custom Crystal Reports and SQL queries as required.
- Advocate the efficient use of the SIS and CRM within Denver Seminary.
- As needed, provide training for functional department customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
