We are a church associated with the denomination of Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). We are looking to hire a Youth Pastor. The Youth Pastor bears primary responsibility for ministry to youth, from 6th to 12th grade, aiding their spiritual development, teaching, counseling and guidance.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and research youth curriculum and materials.
  • Develop a youth fellowship program and coordinate/lead weekly meetings.
  • Work with and support parents on the continuous spiritual growth of youth and children.
  • Build relationships with and invest in youth in order to be a more effective leader, and in aiding them spiritually and become mature Christians.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Seminary degree is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in youth and family ministries strongly preferred.
  • Understanding and teaching in multicultural setting is desirable.
  • Appropriate evidence of Biblical literacy and spiritual maturity, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Proficient understanding of challenges and needs of young people.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Maintain an intimate and growing walk with the Lord.
  • Demonstrates a vision and passion for students (6th-12th grade).
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to relate to children, students, parents and the congregation.
EXPECTATIONS:
  • Will assist in fulfilling God’s mission and vision for the youth and church ministry, of this may fall outside your job description – special events, prayer meetings, etc.
  • Will model a positive and supportive team-player attitude toward the total ministry of the church, and work cooperatively with the Pastor, Deacons and parents.
  • Willing to consider someone who meets the qualification and demonstrates the passion to work with teens.

KIDS' ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR USING LEGO: Pay: $15.50/hour during training, $17.50/hour full rate; Hours: 15-20/week; REF #3090275

Are you a tinkerer? Do you enjoy taking things apart and then putting them back together? How about playing with LEGO®? Would you like to use a ridiculous amount of LEGO® materials to teach kids how the world works? If so, then this may be your dream job! 

We are an educational enrichment company that introduces children in grades K-8 to STEM concepts using LEGO® components.  We are hiring additional smart, creative, dynamic LEGO® Engineering Instructors to deliver our programs. This part-time position includes teaching daily after-school classes with some weekday morning programs, weekend birthday parties and community events during the school year, and full day camp programs during summer.

Buckle up - this is hard work! Lugging 40 pound totes in and out of your car, leading excited kids through challenging projects, managing classroom conflicts, cleaning up all that LEGO® - this will be the toughest job you'll ever love!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible schedule: availability during weekday afternoons a must during school year with some weekends and potential for some school day programs, full weekdays during summer months.

This is a part-time hourly position, 15 - 20 hours/week. Play-Well pays a minimum of 3 hours per daily class session. Paid drive time over 1 hour round trip/day. Pay rate is $15.50/hour during training, $17.50/hour full rate.

  • Passion for kids and ability to quickly develop good rapport with children while maintaining discipline, and directing the design and building experience.

CHILDCARE SPECIALIST: Pay: $12.72/hour; Hours: 10-15 hours/week; REF #3235155

We are a unique respite care center for children ages 3-18 with developmental disabilities. We provide a safe, fun environment for children with disabilities where parents are confident in our care. While in our care, children participate in various field trips, play, laugh, and receive specialized care as needed (e.g. g-tube feedings, meds, diaper changes, etc.). In essence, you get paid to play with kids.  Child Care

  1. Assure a safe and stimulating environment where each child’s needs are consistently met.
  2. Know and understand each child’s individual needs in order to engage children in various activities.
  3. Basic understanding of various developmental disabilities   .
  4. Communicate with staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  5. Communicate with parents about children’s daily activities and behaviors.
  6. Write incident reports (as needed).
  7. Communicate concerns of children to the Executive Director.
  8. Assist with toileting of children (i.e. remind children to use restroom, change diapers).
  9. Assist with daily chores (trash, cooking, cleaning, general pick up, other chores as needed).
  10. Daily charting of children’s activities, behaviors, toileting, and medications.
  11. Other tasks as assigned.
  12. Foster open communication and teamwork that focuses on success as a product of the entire team and the Megan’s Place organization.
  13. CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions certified.
  14. Attend additional training as required.

 Qualifications

  1. Experience that reflects the depth and scope of the above description.
  2. Experience with children with developmental disabilities
  3. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Available full time with flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

This company's coaches will go to preschools and daycares in the Denver area. They run the class at the school and the number of classes they run depends on the children signed up. They can have anywhere between 1 and 6 classes at a school. Our shifts are morning, afternoon and evening blocks. We stack the locations so that they go to different schools in the same area each day. They can have anywhere from 10-30 classes a week. They must have reliable transportation to get to each location.
