HOUSING ORGANIZATION SUMMER STAFF

A non-profit housing organization with a mission to provide safe, affordable, accessible housing and housing services for Colorado’s low income, elderly and disable residents. Job opportunities are available to work with summer volunteer programs including an annual Paint-A-Thon!  Position requires management of volunteers and the desire to assist low-income elderly in the Denver Metro area.  Volunteer oversight consists of working with youth groups, congregations, and corporations.  Staff must be able to manage work projects which involve painting, yard work, and minor house repairs.  Other responsibilities include facilities management, vehicle upkeep, and testing the exterior paint of houses for lead.  Work dates are from May 20 to August 17.  CPR/First Aid certification, EPA renovation, repair, and painting, certification are provided.  The summer staff position is a great opportunity to perform a useful service and lead in a diverse community. Contact EMS with the reference number through the Student Contact Form  to learn more and get started with the application process!

MARKETING INTERN: Pay: $3,000/Summer; Hours: Full-Time; REF#754

Travel to some of the most fun and inspirational youth camps throughout the US and represent the organization’s Marketing Services team by filming and editing video as well as operate the Store’s branded merchandise sales strategy at 5-6 different camp locations. You will edit, produce, and upload highlight videos for each Camp, create film content on-site and off location (expenses paid) and do fast, quality video editing both short videos and potentially longer documentary style and editing videos for various social platforms. Manage logistics of product inventory and display shipments, set up and break down a creative and attractive retail “Store” booth at each location, and track all product sales and returns through the web-based Shopify sales platform. Support on site camp staff during times when the “Store” is not in operation and help with various Camp programs and activities. Must have experience with filming and editing videos, good communication skills and fun personality, and knowledge of key video editing suites.
