For five decades CCU has prepared future leaders to serve as the hands and feet of Christ in the classroom.
Colorado Christian University is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first teacher education programs offered at our heritage institutions. Both the School of Education in the College of Undergraduate Studies and the School of Education Professions in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies continue to adapt in an ever-changing landscape to train and equip competent, committed, Christ-centered teachers.

Centennial Institute Distinguished Lecture Series, co-hosted by the School of Education, featuring Mr. Ian Rowe. Rowe, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, will speak on "Thriving Children in Thriving Communities". Young people in disadvantaged communities face societal barriers and a cultural narrative that tells them they are victims. In addition to a personal conviction in their own potential, kids need the nurturing structure, the consistent discipline, and the moral direction that social institutions traditionally have provided. In particular, they need Family, Religion, Education, and Entrepreneurship—the very pillars that have crumbled in our most disadvantaged communities.
