CCU Hires New VP, Former Senior Director at John Brown University

Officials at Colorado Christian University have announced the hiring of Paul J. Eldridge as Vice President for Development, effective May 9, 2011.

In his new role, he will oversee fundraising efforts and contribute to the strategic growth of the private, liberal-arts University based in suburban Denver and operating regional centers across Colorado.

Eldridge is a recognized expert in estate planning and capital campaigns, and he has spent the last seven years as senior director of development and planned giving at John Brown University, raising millions of dollars by creating philanthropic opportunities for donors and developing planned-giving vehicles.

Born in Temecula, Calif., Eldridge attended college at John Brown, earned a master's degree with magna cum laude honors from Simon Greenleaf University, and also holds a law degree from Trinity Law School. He has previously served as a teacher and, for five years, practiced law in California.
