CCU Professor Menth’s Final Piano Performance April 16
Dr. Christelle Menth will be presenting her final piano performance in the CCU School of Music on Tuesday, April 16, performing George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with the CCU Symphonic Band as a part of the band’s spring concert.
Dr. Menth is retiring at the end of this academic year, after serving on the School of Music faculty since 1998. During her 20 years as Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at CCU, she has performed regularly as a soloist, accompanied numerous faculty recitals, been the featured pianist for countless performances, and taught dozens of CCU piano students. Dr. Menth toured in March with the Symphonic Band, dazzling audiences with Rhapsody in Blue in Illinois, Kentucky, and Oklahoma — the highlight of the entire tour. This is a don’t-miss-it performance!
