Biography and Professional Achievements

Elisabeth Armstrong teaches the capstone Bioethics class for the students in the School of Science and Engineering. Her current research centers on the biopharmaceutical industry, though she often writes on current social issues with bioethical dimensions.

When not at CCU, Armstrong currently serves as a Senior Research Associate with Raymond James' Global Equities and Investment Banking practice. Prior to joining Raymond James, Armstrong held positions with Eventide Asset Management, Meta (Facebook) Reality Labs, CommonSpirit Health, and Proactive MD. She formerly worked as an EMMY-nominated broadcast journalist in markets across the country.

Armstrong is currently earning a doctorate in Bioethics and Health Policy at Loyola University Chicago. She holds an MSc from University of California San Diego, an MSc from Columbia University, and graduated with honors from Colorado Christian University, where she earned degrees Political Science and Philosophy.

In her spare time, Armstrong serves the Advisory Board of Bioethics International, the Policy Committee of Nucleate, and the Board of Directors of Colorado Healthcare Ethics Forum.
