Biography and Professional Achievements

Professor Bamberry earned master's degrees in Social Sciences and Reading and Writing K-12 from the University of Colorado at Denver. Professor Bamberry began her teaching career at Fort Logan Elementary School in the Sheridan School District. She taught first grade and Title I for 15 years. She then served as director of the Competitive Grants and Awards office at the Colorado Department of Education. During this time, she taught classes in reading and developed courses for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies at CCU.

In November 2017, Professor Bamberry became a teacher preparation program specialist in CCU's School of Education, where she supported clinical practice partnerships and School of Education projects. She now serves as Director of Assessment and teaches courses. In 2015, she was awarded Outstanding Faculty of the Year by the College of Adult and Graduate Studies.
