Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Michelle Harrison is a full-time online faculty member. She offers counseling online through her non-profit counseling practice, offering counseling to all clients despite their financial circumstances. Her areas of specialization include trauma, addictions, and human trafficking, specifically working with women who have been sex trafficked. Her mission in counseling is to help all people move toward living a whole, healed, and hope-filled life.

Harrison has presented at a variety of local, state, and national conferences on topics related to trauma and sex trafficking. In 2020, she received the KCA Tim Robertson Advocacy Award, presented at the Kentucky Counseling Association's annual conference.
