Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Steve Cappa joined the faculty of Colorado Christian University in 2013. Prior to CCU, he worked as clinical director of Marble Retreat for 10 years. He also served as full-time counseling faculty at Denver Seminary for eight years prior to his work at Marble Retreat.

Cappa served as the CAPS, Rocky Mountain (Christian Association for Psychological Studies) regional director and has worked in private practice, community mental health, and has an extensive background in training and supervising graduate counseling students. Additionally, he serves as the Western Slope representative of Colorado Counseling Association (CCA).
