William B. Pauls was born and educated in Canada. He graduated with Chartered Accountant designation in 1968 and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Pauls was employed as a staff accountant and a manager at Deloitte Haskins and Sells in Windsor, Ontario, Canada from 1963 until 1970. In 1971, he established William B. Pauls & Co. Chartered Accountants. In 1976, he merged the practice with Deloitte Haskins and Sells and became a national partner in that firm.
William Pauls is Chairman of The Pauls Corporation, a Colorado-based, full-service real estate development and investment company. He has been in the real estate business since 1979, successfully building an organization experienced in the acquisition, development and ownership of land and buildings in the United States and Canada.
Mr. Pauls serves on the boards of the Denver Art Museum and Colorado Christian University. In addition, he is a board member of: Collegiate Peaks Bank, Columbine Capital Corporation, Nordstrom Federal Savings Bank, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Colorado UpLift, and Project C.U.R.E.
Mr. Pauls is married to Verna; they have two sons and seven grandchildren.
