Submitting Your Photo for Student IDs
Online Photo Submission is a service provided to help expedite the student ID process. Students must be registered for classes for the following semester in order to use the service.
To be approved submitted photos MUST meet the following criteria:
- A head shot cropped from slightly above the top of the head down to the collarbone
- Taken against a plain white background
- A color photo, in focus, with sufficient lighting
- Do not include sunglasses, hat, or other accessories
- Facing and looking at the camera with eyes open
- Do not include multiple people or objects
A newer photo reflecting your current appearance is preferred. Typically senior portraits or other professionally taken photos do not work well due to their dark, busy backgrounds. Passport type photos work the best. However, they do not let you smile in passport photos and a smile would be nice. This is often easily accomplished by taking a cell phone picture in front of a plain white background. Students will pick up their ID during Weekend of Welcome.
