Meet Alexa

I love being able to help students discover their passions and be transformed in their faith at CCU. Going to a Christian university and being involved in local ministries helped me grow in my faith and I am excited to be able to share that experience and help other students become the person God designed them to be. I am excited to walk with students during this amazing time of life at CCU!

Team Midwest and Great Plains: Our enrollment team serves first-time freshmen from Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Education: B.A. Film and Communications (Baylor University)

Favorite verse: "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength." – Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

Hobbies: I love playing volleyball, rock climbing, roller blading, painting, drawing, and just soaking up the Colorado sun in the mountains or in Denver. I also love exploring new places and traveling the world. I lived in Spain last year, so I love any opportunity I can find to practice Spanish.

Before I came to CCU: I went to college at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where I studied Film and Communications. During college, I was very involved in working with local schools and homeless ministries. After college, I joined Teach For America and taught at a bilingual preschool for two years in Kansas City. After that, I taught English in Madrid, Spain at an elementary school for a year. While teaching, my passion for academia grew and I learned that I love helping the next generation discover their passions. I am so grateful to be working with incredible students at CCU and helping them find who God created them to be.
