Associate Director of Admissions for Recruitment
I’m fortunate to call myself a Colorado native! I was raised about 45 minutes north of CCU, and I grew up experiencing much of what Colorado has to offer: camping, hiking, snowboarding, fishing, and rooting for the Denver sports teams. I love the that I can drive fifteen minutes east to get downtown, and fifteen minutes west to get lost in God’s creation.
I was raised in a Christian home, was blessed to be supported in my spiritual life by my family. My high school youth group was influential in shaping my faith, and it was there I was encouraged to pursue a degree and career in ministry. I went to a small Christian college in Minnesota, and discovered the value of a strong campus community. During those years I formed friendships that will last a lifetime, and span the globe.
After graduation, I served as a pastor in several churches for fifteen years, and was privileged to plant a church. During that time, I received my Master of Theological Studies degree from Bethel Seminary, and began to work in the Admissions office. As I was approaching the end of my time in ministry, I transitioned to a full-time career in higher education, where I have been working since 2012.
As a student, and now as a professional at CCU, I can’t overstate the value of Christian higher education. At CCU, we don’t just educate students — we’re in the business of seeing God transform young adults into the men and women that will change our world.
