Why EMS?

The Employment Management Services (EMS) program at Colorado Christian University works with employers looking to recruit and select excellent job candidates for their business workforce. EMS works with employers twelve months a year to place CCU students in both full and part time employment opportunities. Students are encouraged to seek employment and contribute to their education costs by working through college at screened and selected employers. Students of all majors are eligible to apply and enroll in the EMS JOBS course series. This enables a student to gain general work experience OR work in areas of interest to deepen their degree program.

EMS is for qualified CCU students who want a paid part or full-time position. With EMS, you'll:

  • Gain experience, income, and a professional network while reducing debt;
  • Get prepared for the job through workshops, classes, and individualized mentoring;
  • Capitalize on the possibility of earning academic credit while you work.

EMS at Colorado Christian University

Colorado Christian University launched the Employment Management Services program (EMS) to help our students achieve professional experience in their fields of study while earning academic credit and hands-on work experience. Over the past six years, EMS has placed over 1,000 students with 200 different companies throughout the Denver metro-area, positioning students to become well known for their professional excellence. In addition, students who enroll in the EMS JOBS course series may earn up to 24 semester hours of their college education in real life work experience. These credit hours may be earned in addition to their 120 credit hours in general education, major, and elective coursework, or the EMS JOBS course series may be used to replace elective credit requirements.
