Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Profession (B.S.)

Gain critical skills to prepare for graduate school as you learn to articulate and defend a Christian perspective on ethical issues in medicine.

The Pre-Medical Profession program at CCU is specifically crafted to provide a strong foundation for students who intend to pursue post-graduate study in a field of medicine. Offered through the School of Science and Engineering, our pre-medical program courses are designed to equip students with the skills and abilities they will need to take the MCAT, as well as to help them gain admission to medical school.

This program will also equip students to gain admission to a variety of para-medical graduate programs, including osteopathic medicine, chiropractic medicine, podiatry, dentistry, and optometry. The Pre-Med major can also be a springboard into pharmacy school, veterinary school, or into a career in public health.

For students planning to continue on to graduate school, it is important to be aware of the pre-medical course sequence in order to stay on track and graduate in four years.
