June 20-25, 2022

And David shepherded them with the integrity of his heart and the skillfulness of his hand.
— Psalms 78:72

You're invited to spend an extraordinary week at Colorado Christian University for our annual Young Christian Conservatives Leadership Conference (YCCLC), a special week-long summer Preview of CCU. Join with like-minded young Christian conservatives, enjoying the Colorado summer, while gaining the knowledge and skills of biblical leadership setting the stage of who God wants you to be, the skills you need as a leader, and the issues you need to be aware of in leading your family, sphere of influence, and culture. You'll also identify key issues facing our nation today, learn more about your faith, and understand what it takes to influence change.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the University, meet current CCU students, and interact with other prospective students in an environment of spiritual formation and community.

Who's invited?

Young Christians age 16-20 who desire to work on leadership development, learn about key issues in culture, make new friends, and share ideas about biblical leadership with those in a similar place in life – all within a Christian worldview.

Experience Colorado.

All YCCLC participants will be housed on CCU's main campus in Lakewood, Colorado, and enjoy excursions around Colorado including whitewater rafting, hiking, a Service Day project, chapel, worship, and more.

Learn more about yourself and others.

The week with be filled with information pinpointing your strengths and weaknesses, what the Bible says about the important topic of leadership, your skills, and tendencies, and the key issues surrounding strong leadership all within a community of fellowship with other believers and current and prospective CCU students.

Be equipped to impact our nation and our world for Christ.

Gaining knowledge of who you are, what leadership styles you have, and how to use them to influence the people around you is the first step in impacting the world for Christ. Knowing how you react to people who lead you and then project your own leadership tendencies to others will give you a base of awareness of how to move within your family, sphere of friends and acquaintances, and the culture.

Invest in your future.

All eventual first-time freshman and transfer student participants who enroll at CCU qualify for a $1,250 partner scholarship toward attending CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies. Contact your CCU Enrollment Counselor for more information.
