    Friday, January 8

    Check In (Students and Parents)

    Welcome to CCU! All new students should check in with Winter Welcome Staff in Yetter Hall. If you are living on campus, the Residence Life staff will be available to hand out room keys, introduce you to your Resident Assistant, and help you move your belongings into your room. The Security Office will be open from 8:00am-5:00pm to get your student ID and parking permit.

    Campus Tour (Students and Parents)

    Meet at the Welcome Center

    The Admissions staff will be on hand to take one more walk around campus with you. This is a good time to figure out where your classes will be located.

    Please join us for lunch in the Café. Commuters, there will be a special section for you to get to know and connect with other commuters and leaders. Note: Lunch will be deducted from your student meal plan. Friday's lunch for your family and guests is free of charge. Any other meals provided by CCU will be listed below. If a meal is not listed you will need to make your own plans.

    University Welcome and Dedication Service (Students and Parents)
    1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

    CCU’s Student Life Staff will welcome you as the newest members of the CCU family. You’ll hear from staff and students on how to make the most of your transition to our community. Also, the Campus Ministries staff will lead a service of dedication. Staff and students will be available after this event for questions and conversation. You won’t want to miss it!

    The University Programming Council (UPC) will welcome you to the student body with one of our favorite things – free food! Current CCU students will be there to get to know you and enjoy a fun night of hanging out, then we’ll head over to cheer for the Cougars at the basketball games.

    Men’s and Women’s Basketball Games vs. Fort Lewis College (Students and Parents)

    Come cheer for the Cougar basketball teams as they take on Metro – one of CCU’s biggest rivals!  Admission to the game is free for new students and their parents/guests.

    Join with students in a few hours of service—an important part of CCU’s community.  Transportation and lunch is provided.  Sponsored by the Life Directions Center.

    All-Campus Communion (Students)

    Join the student body for a time to dedicate the semester to the Lord through worship and communion. This is an amazing way to start your time at CCU!
