God is Faithful
I chose to speak on the faithfulness of God because sooner or later we all will be faced with one challenge or the other. During our times of trials, the challenge may be bearable if it were the only thing we were going through; however you find that the Christian community begins to judge you because you are going through something, normally the judgment comes from the fact that they think you have done something wrong and God is angry with you.
I just want to say that no matter the challenge we have to remember that God is faithful. In Lam.3: 22,23 the word of God says “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness”. It is during our most difficult time that we need to exercise faith just as Abraham did Rom. 4:18-20 says “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”
It is during our time of struggle that we have to hold dear the promises of God, and always remember what God has said either through His word (the bible) or to us personally for “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Num. 23:19.
It is our belief in God that is going to see us through whatever we may be going through, because God is faithful. I have seen God’s faithfulness in my life I just had a ten year prayer for one particular thing answered. Amen
