Music, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts in Music is perhaps the most versatile of all music degrees, preparing you for a broad range of musical and non-musical careers. The additional elective hours easily allow you to add a minor in another field of study or more in-depth studies in specific areas of music. You can tailor the program to your unique interests by adding an emphasis in composition, music production and engineering, or performance.

As a music major, you'll receive personal attention from an exceptional, creative, and caring faculty who are themselves active performers and clinicians who desire not only to teach but also to mentor students. Opportunities include national tours for major ensembles and an on-campus recording studio.

Worship Arts, B.M.

The Worship Arts degree program is a professional degree that develops a particular skill set for students who are called to lead or support a worship ministry. While it is not uncommon for all music degree-seeking students to be involved in a worship ministry, we believe that those who would endeavor to lead others in the act of corporate worship are called of the Holy Spirit to such a ministry. We further believe that this program, along with the Music Education program, is uniquely positioned to fulfill the University's Strategic Priorities and Mission statement. This is not a degree program to be entered into lightly, but requires the heart, mind, and soul.
