Colorado Christian University recognizes the need to create an environment that fosters evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship modeled after Christ's example. The purpose of CCU2theWorld is to create this environment both at home and abroad. These trips are advised by one faculty or staff member, but they are all facilitated by students who propose the trip, interview applicants, prepare the trip, and see it to fruition.
During the last decade, we've sent over 100 short-term missionary teams throughout the United States and all over the world to more than 36 countries. The teams serve others who are in need and, in doing so, to find opportunities to share God's love.

Thanksgiving Trips
New Mexico: Thanksgiving Break
Emphasis: Coming alongside a local church in the Navajo Nation in order to chop wood for families in the community. Apps due Oct 7
Wyoming: Thanksgiving Break
Emphasis: Traveling to a native American reservation in Wyoming to bring Thanksgiving food to families, playing with children, and helping out in the reservation schools. Come ready to serve God and spread the Gospel in a way by caring for the poor and reaching out to the needy. Apps due Oct 7
Spring Break Trips
Costa Rica: March 24 - April 1, 2012
Emphasis: Partnering with Young Life Expeditions to take the gospel to young people of Central America. This trip will be characterized by service and discipleship as we strive to lead other into a meaningful relationship with Christ.
Jamaica: March 22 - April 1, 2012
Emphasis: Spreading Christ's love through personal contact during courtyard sessions and acts of service within the community. Working with the Harmony House to build homes, visit schools, and improve the community.
Scotland: March 23 - April 1, 2012
Emphasis: Serving alongside a local church to reach youth, along with community outreach.
Summer Trips
Costa Rica: (Women's Softball) January 3 -11, (Athletics Teams) May 14 - 24
Emphasis: The teams will be engaging in games and competition in order to share the Gospel and build relationships. They will also participate in service projects.
Guatemala: May 14 - 23, 2012
Emphasis: Serving with urban and rural missionaries and ministries in the area. This trip will be an eye-opener to the work the Lord is doing in Central America
India: May 14 - June 2, 2012
Emphasis: Serving and loving the enslaved Dalits. Through service, showing Christ's love in a very tangible way.
Italy: June 1 - 21, 2012
Emphasis: Serving alongside the organization Saints Equipped to Evangelize in northern Italy. The focus of this trip will be evangelizing to youth and college students.
Moldova: June 5 - 18, 2012
Emphasis: Serving at an Orphan Outreach Camp this summer in a small Eastern European country. Show the love of God to kids while playing games, crafts, worshiping and teaching Bible lessons.
Poland: May 20 - June 3, 2012
Emphasis: Interacting with the youth of Poland through teaching English at a local school and by helping the youth group with an after school program.
Utah: June 17 - July 1, 2012
Emphasis: Learning about Mormonism and speaking on the streets during the Mormon Miracle Pageant. This trip is for those who are intrigued by Mormonism and have a heart for the lost.
