Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Kristen Goree has been a Professor of Nursing with Colorado Christian University since 2011 and in nursing academics for almost 20 years. She has taught across all nursing programs (RN-BSN, BSN, MSN, and DNP) and has served as a program director at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Furthermore, she has been a Fellow of the Leadership for Academic Nursing Program (LANP) through the American Association of College of Nursing (AACN), a recipient of the Doris J. Biester Award for Excellence in Leadership, and is currently a Site Evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

In addition to her extensive experience in academics, she is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Nurse Executive-Advanced (NEA-BC), and is also recognized on the Advanced Practice Registry as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). She has over 22 years of experience working or serving as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner and is passionate about impacting the health of communities through the power of Christ.

In 2022, she published the Model 4 IMPACT, a Biblical framework designed to foster community transformation through the development of innovative solutions to complex problems that affect health and well-being. Today, she is the Founder and CEO of The Center for World Impact (C4WI), a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, which she describes as “the Model 4 IMPACT in action.” Through this organization, she is currently involved in preventing depression, anxiety, and drug use in adolescents and creating a pathway that leads to health and self-sufficiency.
