Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Lene Jaqua's goal is to teach all science in reverence of this verse: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." Colossians 1:16

She teaches physics, physical geology, physical science, calculus, and college algebra. She has developed new courses for CCU in introductory environmental science (CAGS), great ideas in science (CUS), integrated physical science (CUS), and online summer college algebra. She worked on laboratory design and set up for CCU's new physical science laboratory in 2012.

Jaqua is a curriculum developer, researcher, and publisher.  She has researched, outlined, drafted, edited, and proofed original text and test materials. Along with this she consulted with customers and conduced in-service workshops for curriculum use.

Jaqua is the author of 10 text books as well as multiple supporting work-text documents. She authored lab manuals for CCU's algebra-based physics I and II, physical geology, and integrated physical science. She has also authored a text book for Great Ideas in Science. Jaqua is the company founder of Classical Writing.
