12 Reasons to Join CCU Online

Has a lot happened since you last thought about pursuing or completing your education? You might have started a family or changed careers.

At Colorado Christian University we have designed our programs specifically for you, busy adults with busy schedules, families, and careers. With our flexible online format, you can achieve those new goals, pursue your calling, learn new career skills, and finally earn that degree.

12 Reasons to Earn a Degree with CCU Online

It's more than simply saving time and money when you go to school online.

100% Online

Your classroom is wherever you are; in the office, at home, or on the go, as long as you have Wi-Fi.

Community of Adult Learners

All of our programs are filled with adult learners, just like you. This will allow you to learn alongside peers that are all over the world, pursuing the same goals you are.

Easy Onboarding

Your enrollment counselor will be walking with you every step of the way to get you accepted and registered for classes. Not only will they help you with anything you need, they will also be there to pray with you. CCU creates a seamless transition from the traditional classroom setting to the online course format, using convenient apps and even offering a course specifically designed to help get you acclimated to the online classroom.

Flexibility

With online classes, you can have the flexibility to do your class work when you have the time. Almost every assignment will be due on Sunday. You will not have set times at which you have to be "in class" on Brightspace. This will allow you to get on and submit assignments and projects when it is most convenient.

Faith-based and Ethical Education

Every course incorporates a Biblical perspective, no matter your field of study. Once you are at CCU you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the curriculum, your future profession, and your calling all from a Christian worldview.

Accessibility to your Professors

CCU's professors are available to talk through email, phone calls, and messages on Brightspace. If you prefer, our professors can even video chat with you to be able to address your questions and concerns.

Locked-in-Tuition

Just as our cost-of-living increases in cities across the nation each year, many universities raise their tuition rates every year as well. This can really add up by the time you finish your education. We're different; CCU offers guaranteed tuition rates. Your rate will be locked in for up to six years as long as you complete at least one course per year. Earn your degree with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your tuition rate is guaranteed.

Pursuing God's Calling in Your Life

CCU wants to empower and equip your pursuit of God's calling in your life. This starts from the day you take interest in CCU Online through your enrollment counselor to the day you graduate and are walking across the stage. At CCU, you will be pushed to pursue the calling God has for your life through the classes you take and the faculty and staff you meet.

Accreditation

CCU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. HLC was founded in 1895 as a membership organization for educational institutions. It is committed to developing and maintaining high standards of excellence.  CCU also offers program-specific national accreditation like CACREP for CCU's Master of Arts in Counseling.

Small Class Sizes

On average our class size is 12 but will usually remain under 25, providing specialized attention from your professors. This allows you to contribute to your education and be more than just a number. Smaller class sizes provide a great learning environment and for you to get to know your classmates.

Classes are Typically 5-7 Weeks Long

Students at CCU Online are able to take one class at a time, which lasts five to seven weeks long. This is structured specifically for busy adults like you, so you can still juggle all the rest of life's responsibilities while completing your education.

Student Resources

We make sure all the resources you need are at your fingertips and easy to find. Most of your resources will be in Brightspace, your online classroom. This includes CAGS Student Quick Links, CAGS Student Success Resources, Spiritual Pathway, Tips for Success, the CCU Writing Guide, and the CCU Student Tool Box.

Colorado Christian University does not guarantee any job placement as a result of earning this or any other degrees offered by the university.
