What Does It Mean to be a Military Friendly® College?

American flag

An official Military Friendly® college is held to a standard of committing to creating opportunity and success for the military community. This status is awarded by the Military Friendly® Company who “survey investigates and identifies the organizations whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community is comprehensive in scope and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact." (Military Friendly®, 2020)

Colorado Christian University takes great pride in the fact that we have been a Military Friendly® school for over 8 years. So, what does this mean for you?

Here are the 3 top benefits for military students:

Dedicated Staff

We understand the challenges and benefits of being in the military. That’s why we offer dedicated military staff at every level of your education experience. This means you will have knowledgeable and experienced support from enrollment to graduation. Many of CCU’s military support staff have served or are serving in the military and have been trained to specifically help meet the needs of military students.

Tuition discount for you and your spouse

CCU offers a special undergraduate military tuition rate to Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard service members* and their adult dependents.

It goes beyond being Military Friendly®. CCU is military-focused.

In order to make Christian education accessible to everyone in the military community, you can earn most degrees 100% online. CCU also offers on-site support at many military bases in Colorado.
