Business Administration

Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA)

Offered both online and in a classroom setting, Colorado Christian University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to equip a new generation of business leaders – men and women who want to set a higher standard for professionalism, integrity and morality in corporate America. For this reason CCU's MBA curriculum emphasizes leadership theory and practice and is designed to integrate faith into the theory, knowledge and skills students gain in the classroom. Through experiential assignments and opportunities for practical application, students are challenged to relate biblical concepts to discussion topics ranging from accounting practices to business law to strategic marketing.

The goal is to equip MBA graduates with more than fundamental business and management skills; they also develop critical leadership abilities that make them stand out in the workplace. Whether you are pursuing a higher level management position, moving to a new industry, or starting your own business, Colorado Christian University's MBA program will help prepare you for the next step in your career.

Emphases

MBA students can choose the traditional MBA curriculum which has leadership as its primary focus, or they can select an optional emphasis in one of the following areas:

  • Corporate Training – A hybrid program, where students take courses across the disciplines of education and business, including best practices in the teaching of adults, training for impact and group dynamics
  • Project Management – Receive training in project selection, organization, the planning process, communications and negotiations, as well as the tactical and strategic implications in a project environment

Program Benefits

  • MBA students enjoy small classes with other working adults who bring the richness of diverse backgrounds to online and in-class discussions, adding dimension to the program. Throughout the program, students are mentored by qualified professors with strong academic credentials and significant experience in their respective fields.
  • The MBA program can be completed exclusively online, by attending classroom sessions, or through a combination of these two options. Students can accelerate their schedule, or take as long as four years to graduate.
  • MBA students have the opportunity to participate in CCU’s annual Values-Aligned Leadership Summit, a one-day conference designed to bring business executives and students together to discuss the role of values and ethics in today’s workplace.
  • Students in the general MBA program will experience business from a global perspective by participating in a week-long international trip that addresses the unique challenges of marketing in a global business environment.
