    The Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies will provide you with an excellent knowledge of communication theory and practical application. You’ll develop an understanding of interpersonal, group, and organizational communication – including a grasp of social media and communication via emerging technologies. Plus, with a Christian worldview integrated into every class, you’ll see how ethics, meaning, and truth are essential to how we communicate.

    You’ll get training in a variety of important topics, including cross-cultural communication, persuasive communication, and communication law. With a broad understanding of what takes up 75% of every person’s waking hours – communication – you’ll find job possibilities in areas ranging from business and advertising, to radio and journalism, to politics.

You’ll be well prepared to function in business and marketing environments – managing people or managing messaging for an organization. Communications majors are sought after in fields where messaging is essential – from public relations, to law, to essential positions in today’s changing media landscape. From writing speeches to marketing products, your skills will be necessary in our information-dominated world.

    You can take classes at our College of Adult and Graduate Studies Regional Centers, or online from any location. We also have a Communications Studies minor available to students of many majors.
