Healthcare Administration Associate Degree, A.S.

An Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration degree at CCU will provide you with a solid introduction toward becoming a frontline leader in the healthcare industry. All healthcare administrator courses are taught with a Christian worldview, so you will gain unique underpinnings in this degree: You'll grasp the importance of ethical considerations while understanding crucial aspects of leading others as a servant leader.

Program Focus

Medical terminology, delivery systems, and informatics

In CCU's Healthcare Administration associate's degree program, you will be introduced to several different topics within the healthcare field, which will enable you to make the best possible decisions regarding patient outcomes and health services. Additionally, the program will provide a background in human resource management because healthcare, at its core, is about dealing with other people, whether you are managing electric medical records, coordinating with insurance companies, or taking on a role in office administration healthcare. You'll combine all of this with an examination of spirituality and ethics in healthcare — and you'll understand that work in healthcare is, indeed, a sacred calling.
