Register for CCU Academy Dual Enrollment Online Courses
CCU Academy online dual enrollment course registration is open from February 26th - May 28th for the Summer 2024 semester. Read important details below.
Before You Register
Check with your school.
Students, please begin by checking with your high school to receive approval that online dual enrollment courses can be used to meet your high school requirements.
Know important dates.
Be familiar with the academic calendar for the online dual enrollment course registration and drop details.
Explore transfer credit policies.
Contact your prospective universities (institutions) of interest prior to registering for CCU Academy online dual enrollment courses. Colleges and universities, including Colorado Christian University, differ on how they accept AP, dual credit, and dual enrollment credit. Policies can vary from year to year and for various programs. CCU does not offer refunds for credits that do not transfer to institutions.
Use a supported web browser.
Please complete the registration process using Google Chrome or Firefox. In addition, please avoid using the auto-fill function as it can cause errors.
Student Registration Steps
If you have already taken a CCU Academy Online Dual Enrollment (ODE) course and/or taken a Dual Credit course at your high school, skip to step 3 to register and pay for your course(s).
If you have not already taken a CCU Academy online course, complete the following steps to begin the registration process:
1. Gather your information.
- Payment method
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- International students do not need an SSN or taxpayer identification
- Personal email (Do not use your high school email address)
- Date of birth
- High school graduation date
- Expected college start date
- Parent/guardian information (name, phone, email, home address).
2. Complete the CCU Academy Enrollment Form:
- Remember to use a supported web browser on a laptop or desktop computer. Do not use a mobile device.
- Do not use autofill as it can cause errors.
- After completing this form, you will receive a CCU Academy Next Steps email with instructions to complete setting up your CCU Login
Your account must be completely set up to access CCU systems and register!
3. Register and pay for your course(s) in Self Service
- Watch the tutorial video for registration instructions.
- Pay course fees upon registration to ensure you are not dropped from your course(s).
- Partial payments and payment plans are not available for CCU Academy courses.
4. CCU Student Email
- Access your CCU Student Email. Please check your student email daily.
5. Complete the Age Verification Form
- Submit your Age Verification e-form. Access to the Etrieve Document System may take time depending on when your login is created, up to 24 hours.
- You will attach a driver’s license, birth certificate, etc. for documentation.
- Failure to submit the form 21 days prior to the course start date may delay access to courses in Brightspace.
Once steps 1-5 are done, you have registered and paid for your course(s)!
After You Register
Below is additional information to make note of from the Office of Student Success. You will also receive emails regarding this information.
- Textbooks for your course(s).
- Once you are logged into Self-Service:
- Locate Course Catalog
- Select Term
- Select Location—"CCU Academy-Dual Enrollment"
- Click Search
- Select Course Section Name (i.e. APL-100A)
- Click "Bookstore Information"
- Your course syllabus is available and will include the course materials
- Rent or purchase textbooks from Amazon, eBay, Chegg, etc., unless instructions specifically require the purchase of an eTextbook through the course shell in Brightspace.
- Once you are logged into Self-Service:
- CCU Connect
- Access CCU Connect. Search for Online Dual Enrollment group.
- Important Dates
- Be familiar with the academic calendar for online dual enrollment courses.
- Brightspace
- Access the Brightspace learning management platform. Your courses will be viewable and accessible one week before classes start. If you encounter any issues logging in to Brightspace.
