Trustee Spotlight
Jerry B. Jenkins is the author of 210 books with sales of more than 73 million copies, including 21 New York Times bestsellers.
His Left Behind novel was named by PBS as one of the nation's 100 favorite books in its Great American Read. He also writes novels to coincide with his son Dallas’s creation: The Chosen TV series. He and Dallas are the only father/son recipients of honorary doctorate degrees from Colorado Christian University.
Jenkins was inducted into the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame in 2019. He owns the Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild, through which he teaches writing online. He also serves as titular head of the Creative Writing major at CCU.
Jenkins worked at Moody Bible Institute for more than 30 years and served 18 years on their board, seven as chairman. He and Dianna married in 1971 and have three grown sons and eight grandchildren.
