Affordable College Courses for High School Students

Through CCU Academy, Colorado Christian University provides opportunities for students to earn transferable college credit and even an associate degree prior to their high school graduation. Dual credit and dual enrollment courses provide affordable general education courses for high school students in order to help reduce college costs and prepare for the rigor of college coursework.

CCU Academy courses are taught with a Christian worldview — in keeping with CCU's mission to provide Christ-centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth.

Flexible Options to Earn College Credits in High School

• CCU partners with many high schools throughout the country to provide college-level dual credit courses taught by qualified faculty at the high schools. Dual credit courses offered through CCU Academy fulfill high school credit requirements and provide transferable college credit. 
• Through CCU Academy, CCU offers dual enrollment online college courses to high school students to help them jump start their college degree. The 100% online dual enrollment courses are taught by highly qualified CCU faculty members in 10-week to 15-week blocks that allow students time to complete college coursework while attending high school.
• CCU Academy also offers high school students the opportunity to complete an entire associate degree in high school. Students may apply their dual credit, AP (scores of 4 or higher), and online dual enrollment coursework toward the CCU Academy Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. Additional course requirements can be completed online or accepted as transfer credit from another regionally accredited college or university.
