Accommodations and Support Services for CCU Students

Disabilities, Medical Conditions, and Title IX/Pregnancy

Colorado Christian University (CCU) is committed to providing reasonable and appropriate accommodations to qualified students with documented disabilities, medical conditions, and/or Title IX-related needs that impact their educational experience. Accommodations are designed to ensure equal opportunity and access to academic programs and the broader University experience. To receive accommodations, students must self-disclose to the appropriate department, complete the required process, and be determined eligible.

Which Department Should I Contact?

CCU consists of two colleges and one academy. Students seeking accommodations should contact the appropriate department based on their course enrollment(s).

College of Undergraduate Studies
(CUS)

Serves traditional, on-campus undergraduate students.

For accommodations, contact the Student Success Services Coordinator at the Life Directions Center (LDC).

College of Adult and Graduate Studies
(CAGS) / CCU Online

Serves online undergraduate and graduate students.

For accommodation information, contact CAGS Disability and Accessibility Services (DAS).

CCU
Academy
(Online and In-Person)

Offers college-level courses for high school students.

For accommodation information, contact the Online Dual Enrollment (ODE) Manager.

These departments coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities, medical conditions, and Title IX-related needs, including pregnancy and postpartum.

Please note: Notifying general faculty or staff of a condition, status, or need before receiving official approval does not guarantee accommodations. Faculty may only implement accommodations once the student has completed the full process, received approval, and submitted a valid Certificate of Accommodations.

CCU employees and individuals applying for employment at CCU who require reasonable accommodations for the workplace or employment application process due to a disability or medical condition are encouraged to contact Human Resources. For pregnancy-related or other Title IX-protected needs, CCU employees should reach out to Human Resources or the Title IX Coordinators for assistance in accordance with applicable law. Current employees seeking further details on accommodations in addition to HR support are encouraged to review the appropriate sections of the employee handbook.
