The Armstrong Center serves as the academic and spiritual cornerstone for CCU's Lakewood campus.
The Armstrong Center is named after former Colorado Christian University President Bill Armstrong. A former U.S. senator, Armstrong served as president of CCU for nearly a decade beginning in 2006. He displayed an uncommon vision for his times by adopting the University's Strategic Objectives at the beginning of his presidency and by leading the University during a period of unprecedented growth.
The Armstrong Center continues the transformation of CCU's Lakewood campus into a world-class training ground for future business, church, and world leaders. The Armstrong Center was dedicated and opened on October 4, 2024. Since 2015, the University has dedicated four new facilities — providing much-needed academic classrooms, student housing, and meeting spaces. The Armstrong Center is the fifth and most ambitious facility to date.
The Armstrong Center returned the School of Music to CCU's main campus, houses an expanded library, features a 500-seat performance theater, and is home to the University's first dedicated chapel.
We thank our donors for their faithful generosity toward CCU, our amazing students, and CCU's distinct and compelling Christ-centered higher education mission.
