Enjoy the Thrill of Competition
You don't need to be a top-notch athlete to enjoy the thrill of competition at Colorado Christian University. The Intramural Sports program is designed to complement the University’s academic offerings by encouraging the physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual development of the CCU community.
CCU’s Intramural Sports (IMs) are student-run and coordinated by the Campus Activities Department. The program aims to provide a fun, inclusive, and healthy environment where the CCU community can exercise, compete, enhance sportsmanship and character, and simply have fun.
Throughout the year, all students are invited to compete in a variety of sports. Teams are formed by stairwells, floors, or with other peers on campus, offering students the chance to win prizes. Each season, the championship-winning team earns the coveted Intramural Champion T-shirts!
Off-campus commuter students are encouraged to participate and are permitted to enter teams for any sport or activity. Men’s, women’s, and co-ed competitions are available across a variety of sports, activities, and tournaments.
Intramural Events vary from year to year based on interest, but generally include:
- Sand Volleyball
- Flag Football
- Spikeball
- Tigerball
- 3v3 soccer
- Basketball
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Pickleball
- Dodgeball
- Broomball
