State Disclosures for Professional Licensure Programs
Colorado Christian University offers several academic programs which lead to professional licensure in the state of Colorado and, in some programs, prepare students for a national exam. All students should be aware that states vary in their educational and professional requirements depending on the profession. Some states require specific educational requirements, clinical requirements, accreditation requirements, or exam requirements.
For students who may wish to seek licensure, CCU has provided professional licensure disclosures to aid students in determining specific state requirements for professional licensure. Each state makes the final determination if an individual is eligible to sit for licensure based on the rules and regulations of that state at the time a student applies for licensure.
Based on CCU's location policy, students are notified if the licensure program they intend to pursue does not meet the educational requirements or is unknown based on CCU's location policy. It is the responsibility of the student to notify CCU of any address change while enrolled at CCU.

The professional licensure disclosures below provide detailed information about whether or not CCU's educational requirements for licensure in Colorado meet licensure requirements in other states. States may change their rules and regulations without notice to CCU at any time. Therefore, these disclosures also provide the licensing state agency contact information. The information provided is updated annually.
CCU advises students to monitor the rules and regulations regarding licensure in states they are interested in applying for licensure throughout their academic program.

Location Policy
Institutions are required to determine the states in which its students and prospective students are located for the purpose of disclosing state-specific professional licensure information. Colorado Christian University has established the following student location policy:
- For enrolled students, location is the state where a student resides and is based on the permanent home address entered into the CCU Colleague student information system as submitted by the student.
- For prospective students, location is the state of a prospective student's residency at the time the student applied for admission and intends to enroll. The state of residency is disclosed by the student and entered into CCU's customer relationship management system (CRM, SalesForce).
- For students whose permanent address does not include a U.S. State or territory (e.g., students living outside the United States), location will be considered the state of Colorado.
The student location designation will remain in effect unless and until a student changes the U.S. state or territory listed in the student's permanent address using CCU's online Student Self-Service portal. Once a student enters a new U.S. State or territory, CCU will consider that date of entry as the effective date of a student's revised location for the purposes of this policy.
